Peter Marucci è nato il 4 gennaio 1916 a Smith Falls, Ontario, Canada. È figlio di Pasquale e Maria Marucci, che si sposarono in Italia nel 1908 ed emigrarono in Canada intorno al 1913, e il fratello di cinque sorelle: Bomby Campbell, Mary Marucci, Teresa Michul, Carmel Botter e Josephine Carere. I suoi genitori vivevano prima a Smith Falls e poi a Guelph nel 1921. Peter sposò June Burgess alla fine degli anni '30 ed ebbero un figlio, Peter Jr[1].

Peter Marucci was born on January 4, 1916, in Smith Falls, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of Pasquale and Maria Marucci, who had gotten married in Italy in 1908 and had emigrated to Canada around 1913, and the brother of five sisters: Bomby Campbell, Mary Marucci, Teresa Michul, Carmel Botter and Josephine Carere. His parents had lived first in Smith Falls, then had moved to Guelph in 1921 where Peter had eventually married June Burgess in the late 1930s and had a son, Peter Jr[1].
